Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Certification by ARDMS or ARRT (S) with AB/OBGYN registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and optimizes technique for efficiency.
• Supports Patient-Cowered Care philosophy in daily tasks.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate supervisor/engineer.
• Operates radiology computer system for entering exams and supplies.
