Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist for Navicent Health Medical Center - Ultrasound. 30 hours per week with a 6pm-2am shift, sign-on bonus eligible. You will verify orders, assist radiologists, and ensure quality exams while maintaining patient-centered care.

Requires graduation from an ultrasound program, ARDMS/ARRT (S) with AB or OB/GYN, and BLS certification. No prior experience required. Work environment emphasizes safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required.
• Certified by ARDMS or ARRT (S) with Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN registration.
• BLS certification required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates exam quality and optimizes technique.
• Supports Patient-Centered Care philosophy.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to supervisor/engineer.
• Operates Radiology computer system for entering exams and supplies.
• Keeps work area neat and stocked.
• Adheres to departmental rules and acts professionally.
