Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for the Pineville location. The role involves prioritizing and coordinating ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians, and operating ultrasound equipment to departmental standards.

Required credentials include ARDMS or ARRT in Abdomen or OB/GYN and BLS; graduates of a diagnostic ultrasound program are eligible. No prior experience is required. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.
• Performs ultrasound exams in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operates ultrasound and associated equipment proficiently.
• Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while performing in a professional manner.
