Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-time Sonographer (Weekend Option) at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL. The role runs Friday to Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., totaling 37.5 hours weekly in a nights schedule within Radiology's ultrasound department.

Preferred candidates will have RDMS/RDCS or equivalent, CPR, and likely <2 years experience. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for eligible applicants and weekend option pay is eligible.

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is functional and ready for use.
• Perform ultrasound imaging examinations and document procedures.
• Perform studies independently; may be on-call and work at other sites as required.
