Job summary

BJC HealthCare's Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full-time Sonographer for night shifts (10-hour, Mon–Thu 8:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). The ultrasound team performs abdominal, small parts, obstetrical imaging and may assist with vascular studies and needle procedures in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Responsibilities include equipment readiness, documentation, and performing studies independently, with on-call/portable opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School Equi.
• No Experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• RDCS or equiv
• RDMS or equiv

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
