Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Weekend Night Shift Production Supervisor to support packaging, processing, coordination, and sanitation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience, strong communication skills in English and Spanish, and the ability to obtain forklift, Hi-Reach and chemical certifications. Shift runs Thursday–Saturday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM, with flexibility for peak volumes.

Qualifications

• Requires analytical, math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Requires leadership and management to direct the packaging departments.
• Interpersonal and supervisory skills necessary to lead others.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned pod consisting of Packers, Machine Operators, Fryers and/or seasoners.
• Monitors and analyzes labor hours and crew size needed to efficiently run production lines.
• Ensures production of quality product and adherence to standards.
• Maintains data integrity in ERP system and supports KPIs.
• Works with planning and other departments to achieve production goals.
• Drives process improvements and reduces waste on lines.
• Manages material usage and waste to support cost initiatives.
• Uses work orders and tracks maintenance tasks in ERP.
• Supports safety and food safety programs and reports issues.
