Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Weekend Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead a multi-skill packaging/processing team at the Hanover, PA facility. Must oversee packaging lines, sanitation, and safety while ensuring quality and data integrity in ERP systems.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work Friday to Sunday, 5:55 PM–5:55 AM, with flexibility for peak volumes.

Qualifications

• Analytical, math and reading skills required.
• Experience leading packaging departments and interfacing with other departments.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift, Hi-Reach and chemical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned pod of Packers, Machine Operators, Fryers and seasoners.
• Involved in interviewing, training and evaluation of department members.
• Monitors labor hours and crew size to efficiently run production lines.
• Assists Plant Project Coordinator and Production Managers in month-end inventory counting.
• Ensures production of quality products and adherence to packaging standards.
• Maintains data integrity in ERP system and tracks KPIs.
• Works with production planning to meet attainment and goals.
• Drives process improvements and reduces waste; analyzes line performance.
