Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking a Production Lead for the High Street facility in Hanover, PA. You will support the Production Supervisor, lead packaging and processing teams, and drive daily operations during a 5:55 PM–5:55 AM shift from Monday to Thursday.

The role emphasizes leadership, production efficiency, and adherence to GMP, SQF, and food safety standards while maintaining high quality. Forklift/high-reach certified or willing to obtain certification is required.

Qualifications

• Analytical, math and reading skills required.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency.
• Leadership and management experience to direct the department.
• Knowledge of designated packaging and processing operations to assist when needed.
• Forklift and high-reach certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Spanish language skills desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor in leading packaging, processing, and sanitation activities, and act as backup Supervisor in their absence.
• Monitor attendance, evaluate performance, and train packaging personnel to meet production standards.
• Efficiently schedule personnel to fulfill daily production requirements.
• Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment (certification required or willingness to obtain).
• Communicate downtime, production issues, and product overflow to the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure quality product standards are met and upheld.
• Execute and monitor tasks to maintain data in ERP systems.
• Manage material usage and waste on assigned lines to support cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and organize projects as assigned by management.
• Maintain and communicate line-level KPIs and performance standards.
