Job summary

Eaton in Sumter, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum according to blueprints. You will collaborate with a team to meet safety, quality and productivity goals across the shift.

The role runs Friday to Sunday, 5 PM–5 AM, with a pay of 18.50 USD per hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of machine operation experience are required. Cross-training is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a machine operator or machine certificate program graduate.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum per blueprints.
• Operate and maintain multiple machines and perform quality checks.
• Meet safety, quality and productivity goals through teamwork.
• Identify and communicate process improvements and root causes.
• Cross-train and cover other roles when needed.
