Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Highland, IL is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The position offers a base pay of $24.87 per hour plus a $0.50 shift premium, with overtime possibly required.

You will read blueprints, operate and set up production machinery, and be accountable for safety, quality, production quotas, and documentation. High school diploma or GED is required; relocation is not offered and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• No relocation is offered; candidates within 50 miles of Highland, IL facility will be considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and shop orders, use calipers, squares, and tape measure for checking dimensions.
• Operate and set up production machinery.
• Be responsible for safety, quality, production quotas, and all documentation associated with product movement and confirmations.
