Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO, seeks an RN for the Critical Response team on the night shift. The role focuses on early interventions to prevent deterioration and facilitate transfer to higher levels of care.

Requires ICU/critical care experience and an accredited nursing degree with RN licensure. Includes sign-on for external candidates, tuition coverage, and comprehensive benefits. 24 weekly hours, part-time nights with every third weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• Two years of RN experience in critical care, emergency care or progressive care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) HealthCare Provider; ALS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first level of support for the bedside nursing team when patient condition is questioned or jeopardized.
• Educates and supports bedside team in evaluation and management of unstable patients.
• Guides the bedside team to help direct patient care and escalation decisions.
