Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend night shifts (Fri and Sat) with a 24-hour scheduled week, and a sign-on bonus of up to $9,000. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, communicating clearly with patients, families, and the care team, and educating patients and their families.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, planning and executing care, documenting care in real time, and mentoring other staff while ensuring safety and quality.

Formación

• Current RN license in Iowa or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification as required by the American Heart Association.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter training for Adult and Child abuse.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate accurate information to patients and families at hand-offs.
• Assess, plan, intervene, coordinate and evaluate patient care.
• Document nursing care accurately and in real time.
• Educate patients and families and delegate to other staff as needed.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and uphold Mercy safety guidelines.
