Job summary

Korpack in the Chicago suburbs is hiring a Production Control Supervisor for weekends and night shifts. You will oversee the shift's Production Control Coordinators, ensure real-time work-order accuracy, proper material issues, and exact lot- and label-tracking.

You will also reconcile inventory and drive continuous improvements on the floor. Ideal candidates have 1+ year leadership experience, strong ERP/WMS skills, and proficiency with Excel dashboards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in production control, inventory control or materials in manufacturing, co-packing, food or 3PL.
• 1+ year leading a team or a shift.
• Hands-on ERP/WMS experience with work orders, lot tracking and handheld scanning.
• Comfortable with Excel and reading dashboards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own work-order accuracy on the shift: issues, receipts, scrap and returns, in real time.
• Closely close and reconcile each work order and ensure line inventory balance.
• Record scrap with a reason code and ensure catch-weight items are converted.
• Count and label finished goods as they come off the line.
• Lead and train the shift's Production Control Coordinators, including temporary staff.
• Coordinate with Production Manager and Warehouse to anticipate material needs and smooth changeovers.
• Maintain SQF/USDA compliance records and support audits.
• Spot bottlenecks and propose fixes with the Inventory Control Manager.
