Job summary

Korpack in the western Chicago suburbs is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead Line Leads and operators, hit daily production plans, and keep safety and quality top of mind.

You will coordinate with staffing agencies for temp workers, make quick personnel decisions, and drive continuous improvement on a food-grade ERP environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years supervising in manufacturing or food production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervising in manufacturing, packaging, or food production.
• Proven ability to lead working leads and large temp-heavy crews.
• Bias for the floor — you supervise by walking, watching, and coaching.
• Comfort making fast, fair personnel and priority decisions.

Responsibilities

• Shift production plan attainment and quality— your lines hit plan, and the product is right.
• LMA of Line Leads— lead, manage, and hold accountable the leads running your lines.
• Personnel decisions— keep/release calls on temp associates and replacement coordination with our staffing agency.
• Equipment readiness and coverage— elevate equipment issues fast; keep lines staffed and running.
• Safety and housekeeping— a safe, food-grade floor is non-negotiable.
