Job summary

Korpack, a growing packaging solutions company near the western Chicago suburbs, is seeking a Line Lead to own and optimize a production line on the floor. You will manage the line performance, ensure output matches work orders, and lead operators and temp staff to steady, safe operation.

Day-to-day you’ll set up, run, verify instructions, track hourly output, and enforce quality checks. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes immediate issue escalation and coaching newer teammates on standards

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in production/packaging with informal or formal lead experience
• A quality eye — you notice when something is off before it becomes a problem
• Clear, calm communication with a crew of mixed experience levels
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and run your line to the daily plan; direct operators and temp associates on the line
• Verify work order instructions, components, and labeling before and during runs
• Track hourly output vs. run-rate standard; adjust and elevate to keep pace
• Perform and enforce quality checks; stop the line for conformity issues
• Coach new operators on line standards and safe operation
