Job summary

Korpack is seeking a Production Control Supervisor for nights or weekends to lead the coordination of production scheduling, material flow, and work-order execution on a fast-paced packaging floor.

You’ll build schedules, manage WIP and materials, supervise a small team, and partner with floor Supervisors, Sales, and Supply Chain using Acumatica ERP to track status and resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• 3–5+ years in production control, scheduling, or logistics.
• Strong ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency.
• Experience leading a small production team.
• Able to make quick, sound decisions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production schedules to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.
• Manage work-in-progress and material availability, resolving shortages or conflicts.
• Supervise production control staff/coordinators and review performance.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors on floor regarding orders and priorities.
• Use ERP/MRP (Acumatica preferred) to plan, track, and report production status.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies, waste, or bottlenecks.
• Maintain documentation from purchase order to production completion.
• Liaise between Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain while upholding safety and quality.

About the Role

Korpack is looking for a Production Control Supervisor for nights OR weekends to lead the coordination of our production scheduling, material flow, and work-order execution. This role sits at the intersection of planning and the shop floor — you’ll make sure the right materials and priorities reach production on time, while supervising the team that keeps that process running smoothly. What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain production schedules to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets
• Manage work-in-progress and material availability, resolving shortages or scheduling conflicts as they arise
• Supervise and coach production control staff/coordinators, assigning work and reviewing performance
• Partner closely with Production Supervisors on the floor regarding work orders, material flow, and shift priorities
• Use ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica preferred) to plan, track, and report on production status
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies, waste, or bottlenecks in the production process
• Maintain accurate documentation from purchase order through production completion
• Serve as a liaison between Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
• Enforce safety and quality standards alongside operations leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering (or an associate degree plus 5+ years of related experience)
• 3–5+ years of experience in production control, scheduling, or logistics within manufacturing or packaging
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Proven ability to lead a small team while managing cross-functional relationships
• Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort making fast, sound decisions in a dynamic environment
• Self‑directed, organized, and adaptable — someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
