Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a Weekend MRI Technologist to provide Saturday and Sunday scanning from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role features a stable weekend-only schedule with a potential to grow into a fuller-time role as needed, and includes strong benefits from day one.

The position requires MRI certification/registration and two years of MRI experience, with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. No on-call duties are required for this weekend assignment.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in Radiologic Technology with MRI focus.
• Typically requires 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• MRI certification/registration within the indicated timeline.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment for basic to advanced MRI procedures.
• Obtain patient history, position, and administer contrast as needed.
• Post-process images and ensure correct labeling and documentation.
• Maintain records and enter data into the RIS; support QA and safety.
• Educate staff and collaborate with departments to improve imaging workflows.
