Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for the second shift to operate MRI equipment and support advanced imaging procedures. The role requires safety awareness, patient care, and a collaborative team approach in a fast-paced imaging department.

Responsibilities include image acquisition, contrast administration under Radiologist direction, and ensuring patient safety. Training in Radiologic Technology and ARRT/MR certification paths are outlined in the job

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• Certification requirements include ARRT/MR or CAMRT depending on region.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment to perform diagnostic imaging (musculoskeletal, neurological, body imaging).
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, administer contrast as directed by Radiologist.
• Position patients, adjust scanning factors, ensure image quality and safety.
• Document procedures, manage records, and perform QA on equipment.
