Job summary

Aurora St. Luke9s is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist to join a state-of-the-art imaging team in Milwaukee. You will perform a wide range of advanced MRI exams across cardiac, neuro, body, and MSK imaging, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced MRI technologist capable of performing diverse exams.
• Experience with safety and cross-sectional anatomy principles.
• Strong patient communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment for basic and intermediate diagnostic exams.
• Obtain patient history and administer contrast under Radiologist supervision.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors to ensure image quality and safety.
• Post-process images and accurately label with patient details and location.
• Maintain records in RIS and document billing codes for procedures.
• Conduct QA tests on equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist with patient handling and adhere to age-specific care guidelines.
