Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Wisconsin is seeking an MRI Technologist for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), two 12-hour shifts, with premium weekend rate and benefits. The technologist performs MRI exams under supervision of the Section Chief and Manager.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT recognition or registry, with advanced MRI registry within 1 year, and has 2 years of staff technologist experience (or 1 year MRI-focused). CPR certification and RIS/HIS familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years experience as a staff technologist preferred; one year MRI technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients according to department procedures.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists.
• Ensure quality of digital images and correct patient data in PACS.
• Maintain patient safety and provide patient education.
