Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking independent contractor Nurse Practitioners to support military service members in New Jersey. The role emphasizes weekend coverage with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include performing physical health assessments, reviewing health history and medical records, interviewing service members to identify current or prior concerns, and documenting results for readiness in the medical record.

Qualifications

Active NP license in New Jersey.
CPR/BLS certification.
Experience with primary care, urgent care, or occupational health.
Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
Able to work extended hours and travel, including weekends.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments and multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using the proprietary system.
