Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military personnel across the US, including reserve components. Weekend work is primary, with occasional weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Missouri, as needed.

You will review medical histories, conduct health assessments, interview service members, and document readiness classifications in our proprietary system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred
• Ability to travel to various locations, including remote installations

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history, records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health needs.
• Document results for readiness in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
