DOCS Health is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to partner as an independent contractor to support military personnel health assessments on a weekend and as-needed basis. You may work with Reserve components and various installations, including remote sites, under the RHRP framework.

You will review medical histories, interview personnel, and document readiness classifications in our systems, with emphasis on quick, accurate health assessments and readiness determinations.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends; able to work at remote military installations.

Responsabilités

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
