Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors serving military service members. Most work occurs on weekends with some weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, across multiple locations including remote military installations.

Required: active NP license in the state and CPR/BLS certification; experience in primary/urgent/occupational health is preferred. Training includes documentation in our readiness system and possible supervision per state rules.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS Certification required
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high volume of service members

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using the proprietary system.
