Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors serving military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program in Nevada.

You will perform health assessments, review history and records, interview personnel, identify urgent concerns, and document results in the proprietary medical record system, with travel to remote installations and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada NP license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willingness to travel to remote military installations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using the proprietary system.
