Job summary

The role emphasizes recovery-oriented practice, safety, and strong communication as you engage with clients and families in a supportive environment. High School Equivalency required; experience in mental health preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency; experience with mental health preferred.
• Trauma-informed and recovery oriented.
• Supports there being many pathways to recovery.
• Willingness to partner with clients regardless of stage of change, showing compassion.
• Knowledge of social determinants of health and recovery capital.
• Skills in advocacy, organization and communication.
• Ability to effectively encourage interpersonal effectiveness and conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates recovery activities in individual and group settings.
• Attends and participates in team meetings.
• Documents client progress in the electronic medical record.
• Willing to participate in trainings as assigned.
• Provide a safe environment and assist with ADLs as needed.
• Collect information through observation and interviews.
• Engage with clients to foster a welcoming, safe environment.
• Participate in de-escalation and crisis management as needed.
• Handle with Care techniques including physical restraint as required for safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
