Job summary

Comprehensive Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Health Associate to support clients in our 24-hour inpatient and residential facilities. You will engage clients in counseling, lead groups, and help develop independent living skills in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork are essential as you assist with medication oversight, documentation, and safety procedures while promoting trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, support and a safe living environment in inpatient and residential facilities.
• Offer individual and group counseling and skill-building activities.
• Support clients with stabilization of symptoms and illness management skills.
• Assist with medication oversight and safety procedures.
• Document activities, goals and progress accurately.
