Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician – Recovery Support Specialist in Mishawaka, Indiana. This full‑time role supports clients across the treatment journey, maintains a safe, recovery‑oriented environment, and collaborates with clinical staff.

You will assist with daily living, participate in recovery activities, monitor safety, and help with program operations. A strong trauma‑informed approach and compassionate engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass background checks and motor vehicle screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, routines, and appointments.
• Provide orientation and support to new clients on rules, schedules, and unit layout.
• Monitor safety and adherence to program policies; document observations in the EHR.
• Facilitate psychoeducational or recovery groups under supervision.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
