The Ivy of McKinney is seeking a Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our onsite team on weekends. You will plan and lead activities that promote social connection, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and emotional well-being for residents in memory care and senior living settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred, especially memory care, assisted living, or senior living.
• Creative, patient, and compassionate approach.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the day.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading daily activities for residents
• Support games, crafts, music, events, and wellness programs
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Adapt activities for seniors with memory loss or cognitive impairment
• Set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies
• Work closely with staff to create meaningful resident experiences
