Job summary

IVY Park at San Marino, a premier senior living community, is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care. The role involves organizing and promoting activities and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life, aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include supporting the Memory Care Director, coordinating engaging events, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
• COVID-19 PPE and health screening may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere with activities and events.
• Promote resident participation through high-quality activities, excursions, and special events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
