Job summary

Ivy Park at Oakland Hills, a premier senior living community, is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care to organize, promote, and lead activities and excursions that support residents’ independence and quality of life.

In this role you will work with the Memory Care Director, schedule events, and ensure safety while driving community vehicles. Strong communication and computer skills (MS Office) are required; 18+, HS diploma, and driver license preferred. EOE.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an engaging social atmosphere with activities, excursions, and events.
• Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
