Job summary

Cupertino-Healthcare- is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff, covering technical maintenance, repairs, and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements. Schedule is Friday–Monday, 32 hours.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a long term care center preferred.
• Ability to read and write English for business necessity.
• Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• One year experience in basic trades preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
• Requires full range of body motion.
• Maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
• Understands department budget.
• Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
• May train personnel to meet Center needs.
• Participates in assigned meetings and in‑services.
• May assume role of Director in his absence.
• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
