Job summary

Generations Healthcare's Pleasanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant. The role maintains grounds, facility and equipment to safety standards under supervision, with a schedule of Monday to Friday and a monthly weekend rotation.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 18+, English proficient, and are able to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas and driveways.
• Repair facility systems including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work.
• Clean windows and replace bulbs and fixtures as directed.
• Service heating and cooling units per manufacturer specifications and policies.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services and report incidents or accidents.
