Job summary

Responsibilities include following schedules, reporting incidents, and performing routine repairs and light maintenance on various facility systems while maintaining PHI confidentiality and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents and the public.
• Maintain care and use of supplies and equipment.
• Willingness to adopt new maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor; coordinate daily maintenance with nursing staff.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, and facility equipment.
• Replace bulbs and service lighting as needed; maintain lighting, exits and room lights.
• Ensure facility and equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including PHI.
