Marvin is hiring a Weekend Maintenance Technician II to handle advanced tasks on production machines and troubleshoot with minimal supervision in Grandview, MO. The role includes documenting repairs, performing inspections, and setting up new equipment, with emphasis on safety and craftsmanship.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits like health insurance, 401(k) match, paid holidays, and more. Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm schedule with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree strongly preferred.
• Three years of related maintenance experience or technical training preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment to troubleshoot problems and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance using the work order system (EAM).
• Inspect, repair, and set up production equipment; train others on repair techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to perform maintenance tasks; demonstrate welding/fabrication skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report maintenance status at shift end.
