Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Weekend Maintenance Technician II in Independence, MO. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment with minimal supervision, documenting repairs in the EAM system, and setting up new machinery.

The position requires a technical background and strong welding, fabrication, and machining skills. You will work Friday through Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required;Associate’s degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training required.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Document repairs and preventive maintenance using the EAM system.
• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist with machine repairs.
• Set up new equipment and troubleshoot using specialty tools.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawings for maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate basic machining and welding skills.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report status to supervisors.
