Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Nurse for our Michigan long-term care facility. The Weekend Warrior Nurse will work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, coordinating total nursing care for residents and supervising staff under the Director of Nursing.

The role requires an active Michigan LPN license and CPR certification, with experience in long-term care preferred. Responsibilities include assessing resident conditions, administering medications, maintaining records, and participating in quality

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement interventions and develop care plans; document observations in PCC.
• Make rounds with a physician; monitor symptoms and adjust care as needed.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to residents.
• Administer medications per physician orders and report contraindications.
• Coordinate supplies, equipment, and referrals; schedule appointments and therapies.
• Monitor CNA staff and assist with resident care duties as needed.
