Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a licensed practical nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make regular rounds with a physician; observe symptoms and reactions to treatments and medicines.
• Administer medications according to policies; notify staff of contraindications.
• Monitor CNAs; assist with resident care duties and daily activities.
• Document and report resident status; coordinate with nursing leadership and unit staff.
