Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Big Rapids is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care and coordinate total nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to establish goals and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role includes assessing residents, developing care plans, administering medications, and supervising CNAs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• 2+ years of long-term care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care and coordinate total nursing care for residents.
• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans with physicians.
• Administer medications to residents per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor residents and report daily and periodic summaries to DON and Unit Manager.
• Assist CNAs with personal resident care duties as needed.
