Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make rounds with a physician; observe symptoms and progress; implement interventions.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care for residents.
• Administer medications according to policies and physician orders; monitor for contraindications.
• Document in medical records and communicate with Nursing leadership and DON.
