Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.

You will assess conditions, develop care plans, document observations, administer medications, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to achieve care goals. This role requires a current Michigan LPN license, CPR certification, and the ability to supervise CNAs, perform wound care, IV therapy, and routine treatments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a licensed practical nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions, develop care plans, and document observations in PCC.
• Make rounds with a physician; observe symptoms and adjust care as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to residents.
• Administer medications according to policies and notify staff of contraindications.
• Supervise CNAs and coordinate with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers.
• Complete and report resident injury and ensure compliance with regulations.
