Job summary

Michaels Warrington is seeking an energetic events coordinator to plan and run kid-friendly parties and craft classes within our store. You will engage customers, demonstrate activities, and help guests enjoy a stress-free shopping and celebration experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, communicating with clients and team members, and supporting store operations—while upholding safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality suitable for events and customer interactions.
• Excellent people skills and ability to engage guests of all ages.
• Experience working with children and planning birthday parties or similar events.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a store setting.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events such as children's parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate crafts, perform face painting, and facilitate activities.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Set up, run, and clean up before and after events.
