Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Same Day Services - Infusions. This weekend-only position focuses on coordinating and delivering outpatient infusion therapy within a collaborative nursing team.

The role requires WA RN licensure with active BLS, ACLS, and PALS. You will assess, treat, educate, and document patient care, balancing independent judgment with teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality infusion services.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington in good standing.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS at time of hire.
• Outpatient infusion experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize and respond to infusion-related emergencies.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with standing orders in a collaborative team.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with emphasis on infusion therapy.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to support infusion care and workflows.
• Safely administer infusion therapies and manage IV access.
• Monitor patients for adverse events and respond promptly.
• Educate patients and families on infusion care and recovery.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR.
• Support weekday operations in addition to weekend coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacy, and care koordináció teams.
• Balance independent practice with team-based care.
