Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current WA RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate nurse residency program or six months' RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS & PALS within 3 months of hire.
• NIHSS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and directs workflow on the unit.
• Make staff assignments reflecting patient acuity and care needs.
• Mentors staff, float, and agency personnel on policies and standards.
• Lead and role model for clinical staff on unit.
• Ensure safe patient care and effective documentation.
