Mass General Brigham is seeking a Food Service Worker to support the safe preparation, assembly, distribution, and service of meals for hospital patients, visitors, and staff. The role covers patient dining, cafeteria, and kitchen operations with emphasis on food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 11:15 AM - 7:45 PM, on-site at 1153 Centre Street. Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is preferred or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Previous food service, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, food stations, and department equipment.
• Follow all HACCP food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate concerns, discrepancies, equipment issues, and product shortages to leadership.
• Work in a variety of food service areas, including tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen operations.
• Assemble patient meal trays and serve food and beverages to customers.
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays from patient rooms as needed.
• Clean stations, equipment, and floors following meal service.
• Prepare food items for patient meal service and cafeteria operations.
