Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient dining, cafeteria, and kitchen operations. The role focuses on safe food preparation, assembly, distribution, and high standards of food safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand menu items in English.

Responsibilities

• Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions as assigned.
• Assemble patient meal trays and serve food and beverages to customers.
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays from patient rooms as needed.
• Set up, stock, and replenish food stations for meal service.
• Follow HACCP food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, food stations, and department equipment.
