Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Hospice Aide to deliver compassionate personal care and homemaker services in patients’ homes within the Northshore/Central Territory. The weekend schedule runs 8am–8pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a base pay range shown and opportunities for additional pay.

You will support hygiene, transfers, meals, and daily living activities while maintaining safety. Vaccination against influenza is required.

Qualifications

• Requires MA CNA or HHA certification.
• Experience in basic patient care and home health is beneficial.
• Ability to document patient status and care provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, hygiene, grooming, and in-home support.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using safe techniques.
• Aid with meals, medications cuing, and vital signs.
• Maintain infection control and report changes to the hospice nurse.
