Job summary

PopStroke Holdings LLC is seeking a Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team in Florida. You will prepare food quickly and safely, follow portion controls, and use ticket systems to complete orders. Collaboration with the kitchen crew ensures timely, quality meals for guests.

We require weekend/holiday availability, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods while safely operating kitchen equipment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Prepare food quickly, safely, and efficiently per standards.
• Follow portion control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Assist with inventory management and notifying shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follow all safety procedures and open/close procedures.
• Remove trash and operate trash compactor.
• Other duties as assigned.
