Job summary

PopStroke Holdings LLC is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will prepare meals quickly and safely, follow portion control to reduce waste, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Candidates should have strong cooking knowledge, excellent teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 40 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability is required; this is a non-exempt, hourly role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Prepare food quickly, safely, and efficiently according to standards.
• Follow established portion control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and communicate shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and timely service.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and execute opening/closing procedures.
• Remove trash and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Other duties as assigned.
