Job summary

Crosswalk.com, Ltd. seeks a Director of First Impressions or First Impressions Pastor to oversee weekend guest experiences, recruit volunteers, and cultivate welcoming environments at the Cypress campus.

This role includes pastoral responsibilities if appointed as Pastor and requires coordinating teams across greeters, ushers, shuttles, and hospitality spaces. You’ll lead and train volunteers, manage scheduling in Planning Center, and partner with events to ensure smooth experiences for guests

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of church or ministry leadership experience, including recruiting, training, and developing volunteer teams.
• Ability to turn vision into dependable execution and healthy teams.
• Warm, clear communicator who delegates well and fosters collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the weekend First Impressions experience across greeters, ushers, shuttles, lobby, welcome teams, parking, cafe and Merch House.
• Recruit and onboard volunteers; review interest forms and connect gifts to roles.
• Coordinate Planning Center scheduling and training; ensure coverage and required clearances.
• Coach team leads to recruit, train, and care for their teams; supervise paid staff where applicable.
• Ensure supplies, setup, and hospitality areas are prepared; manage merchandise restocking and attendance tracking.
• Partner with Events for special occasions and connect volunteers with community groups and care pathways.
• Provide spiritual leadership and shepherding when appointed as Pastor; maintain attendance and report metrics.
